Brunch is held in the Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park (4256 Magnolia Avenue; www.towergrovepark.org) every Sunday morning, which is great — if you're out of bed in time. For those of us who are more likely to be up and at 'em in the evening hours, there are the Farmers' Market Dinners on the Plaza, also at Piper Palm. Butler's Pantry hosts these buffet dinners from 6 to 9 p.m. every Thursday this month (July 2 through 30), and the suppers feature produce from the Tower Grove Farmers' Market; the menu varies weekly. From spinach parpadelle with heirloom tomatoes to pecan-crusted Missouri trout, each dinner is sure to be delicious — and to inspire you to buy more area eats. Sitting down at the locavore table costs $14.95 if you are a kiddo, $28.95 if you're a grownup. Call 314-575-5658 to make your reservations.
Thursdays. Starts: July 2. Continues through July 30, 2009
