Big Boutique But Not Big Bucks
The economy's been hurtin', but that doesn't mean your style has to be, too. So, if you're looking for a way to maximize your wardrobe but not your credit-card debt, head to the Cash & Carry Warehouse Boutique Sale being held today at the Boulevard St. Louis (South Brentwood Boulevard and Galleria Parkway, Brentwood; www.theboulevard.com). From 1 to 4 p.m., frugal-minded fashion lovers can hit the racks for 50 to 90 percent off retail price on thousands of designer items from designers such as Lilly Pulitzer, Tory Burch and Milly. The inventory, supplied by local boutiques, includes everything from clothing, shoes and accessories for women, men and children to luggage, briefcases and even golf products. Admission is free, but $10 will get you in at 10 a.m. for an advance chance at the goods. Proceeds from admission will be donated to the Family Resource Center and the Humane Society, so you can even help others while you help yourself. All sales are final and cash only.
