Like the closing of the neighborhood swimming pool or a Labor Day barbecue, the annual music festival known as the Lot signals the end of summer in St. Louis. Held in the parking lot at the Schlafly Tap Room, the Lot brings together a handful of this town's best live acts in the pop, rock, indie and blues genres. For the eleventh installment of the concert, the organizers have corralled a lively lineup; performers include guitar-pop trio the Blind Eyes, blue-eyed soul practitioners Jon Hardy & the Public, blues maestros the Soulard Blues Band and hard-edged rockers LucaBrasi. The Lot also features local food vendors and, of course, plenty of Schlafly beer. The festival begins with DJs, live art and a craft fair at 2 p.m.; the music starts at 5 p.m.
