Still Off the Wall
The seventh annual Wall Ball, the Saint Louis City Open Studio and Gallery's fundraiser, ensures entertainment and fine art every year. More than fifty artists create and complete works in only four hours, while partygoers watch and silently bid on the works in progress that most tickle their fancy. Along with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and dancetastic DJs, other fun offerings include a delicious cupcake raffle and a separate silent auction. Jeremy Rabus, Carmelita Nuñez, Jessi Cerutti, and Stan Chisholm are a few of the very talented (and expeditious) artists participating this year. Wall Ball takes place from 7 p.m. to midnight at NEO on Locust (2801 Locust Avenue; 314-865-0060 or www.scosag.org). Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 at the door, and can be purchased at Local Harvest (3148 Morganford Road) or at either Left Bank Books locations (399 North Euclid Avenue and 321 North Tenth Street).
