Losties are a hypersensitive and obsessive bunch, as terrified of potential spoilers as they are of the imminent end of the show itself. At least they're worked up for something with a complex plot — hell, at least the show has a plot. Those reality-TV mouth breathers are souls adrift in illusion and self-deception. Anywho, the New York Times and Fathom Events have teamed up to feed the puzzle-minds of Losties everywhere with the epoch-shattering Times Talks Live: Lost extravaganza at more than 400 movie theaters nationwide. Times' entertainment editor Lorne Manly discusses the difficulties of crafting the show and wrapping it up with Lost co-creators Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof during this live simulcast, which also features an interactive Q&A with fans (submit your questions via firstname.lastname@example.org). And, spoiler alert: A teaser clip from the show's final episode will be shown. Times Talks Live: Lost screens locally at 7 p.m. at the AMC Esquire 7 in Richmond Heights (6706 Clayton Road; 314-781-9017 or www.fathomevents.com). Tickets are $12.50.
