Famed horror writer Steve Niles (30 Days of Night, Criminal Macabre) signs copies of his new comic, Mystery Society, from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Hometown Comics (110 East Vandalia Street, Edwardsville; 618-655-0707 or www.hometowncomics.com). Hometown Comics will have 1,000 copies of Mystery Society with variant covers for the occasion, and all Steve Niles' books will be 20% off regular price. Admission is free, and Mystery Society costs $3.99 for the regular cover and variant covers range from $5.99 to $8.99.
