There is an undeniable bond between mothers and sons, especially between mothers and their gay sons. The Gateway Men’s Chorus knows all about it, but even they aren’t the highest authority on the subject. Mama Knows, the GMC’s season finale concert at Washington University’s Edison Theatre (6445 Forsyth Boulevard), is a tell-all in song format of the many ways a mother can discern what’s really going on with her boy -- and his boyfriend. Mama Knows is performed at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday (June 18 and 19). Tickets are $15 to $25 and are available through the GMC’s website at www.gatewaymenschorus.org or in person at Botanicals Design Studio (3014 South Grand Boulevard), Left Bank Books (399 North Euclid Avenue or 321 North Tenth Street), and MoKaBe’s (3606 Arsenal Street).
