Gotta Get Back in Time

How appropriate that Back to the Future is screening at St. Louis Union Station (1820 Market Street)! After all, the 1985 Michael J. Fox movie is a blast from the past, just like the station (a National Historic Landmark), but both are timeless enough that they can certainly be appreciated today. To watch Fox's Marty McFly teach a different generation about how to skateboard and how to rock out — and to introduce this fine family-friendly film and venue to any members of the younger generation you might have around your house — head to the shed and bring along only something comfy to sit on: The screening is free. Viewers should plan to get back in time around 8:30 p.m.; for more information call 314-421-6655 or visit www.stlouisunionstation.com. And note: Rain won't stop the screening — it will be moved inside in the event of inclement weather.
