International Boxing Federation champion and Vashon High School graduate Devon Alexander returns to his hometown to face former World Boxing Council super lightweight champion Andriy Kotelnik of Lviv, Ukraine, in a bout dubbed Gateway to Greatness. Though Kotelnik has a few years on the undefeated "Alexander the Great" (Kotelnik is 32, and Alexander 23), he was still the only fighter able to defeat Marcos Maidana (a rumored possible opponent of Alexander's). Plus, he's from Ukraine, and nobody wants to mess with that. Behold the glory and the power tonight at the Scottrade Center (1401 Clark Avenue; 314-241-1888 or www.scottradecenter.com). Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the undercard bouts begin soon after. Tickets range in price from $17.50 to $300.
