Dance movies and Lady Gaga share the same message: When in doubt, just dance. These sources have taught us that through movement we can build relationships, find ourselves and even save the world — OK, even dance movies don't claim to accomplish that last one (at least, not yet). Anyway, there's something so satisfying about the idea of dancing it out in order to express emotions, which is why movies like Dirty Dancing are so popular. Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze's characters develop such chemistry throughout the film, as the summer temperatures heat up and Baby's dance skills improve. To refresh your love of the film, which also stars Jerry Orbach as Baby's father, head to Grand Center's Strauss Park (Washington and North Grand boulevards; www.grandcenter.org) for a screening this evening. The night begins with a trivia contest at 8 p.m., and the movie follows at 8:30 p.m. Admission is free; you're welcome to bring along lawn chairs or a blanket.
