Kevin Seconds knows a thing or two about staying busy. Aside from fronting one of the longest-standing hardcore punk bands around, 7 Seconds, he hosts a punk-rock radio show, he's run coffee shops/art spaces in Sacramento, California, and he churns out the occasional painting. For the past twenty years, Seconds has also toured and recorded as a solo artist, delivering fast-paced folk ballads and acoustic punk anthems. And while he may have traded in his preaching, urgent scream for a more trained, sing-song voice, he certainly hasn't lost his penchant for writing about sincere life lessons laced with sneering veracity.
