Collectors of modern wonders and outsider art Rick Ege and John Foster cull the most interesting and unusual pieces from their respective hoards for this exhibit in the Sheldon Art Gallerys (3648 Washington Boulevard; 314-533-9900 or www.thesheldon.org). Works of art by renowned outsider artists such as Lee Godie, Howard Finster and Henry Ray Clark are displayed alongside found objects that combine functionality and ingenuity to create something that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Uncommon Objects/Personal Views: The Collections of Rick Ege and John Foster remains on display through Saturday, January 8, 2011. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, and admission is free.
