ArtD goes Off
You're gonna get a lot of party invites this time of year — well, you are; no one invites stinky ol' calendar editors anywhere. Consider this your invite to go Off the Wall. ArtDimensions' annual holiday blowout returns with an evening of fashion shows, live art creation, music and a breakdancing competition, and three separate art exhibitions (street art, handmade arts and crafts and the work inspired by the Art Ambassadors' Indonesian trip). Upscale attire is encouraged, and costumes are even more encouraged by way of $100 prize for most outrageous getup. The party runs from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. at ArtDimensions Gallery and Studios (2720 Cherokee Street; 314-330-8869 or www.artdimensions.org). Admission is $10 in advance and $20 at the door.
