More About

Holiday fires are perfect for roasting chestnuts, for toasting marshmallows after a brisk sleigh ride — and for Blo-Ho-Ho at Third Degree Glass Factory. Known for its excellent Third Friday Open House events, Third Degree (5200 Delmar Boulevard) turns up the heat — and escalates the fun — for this special holiday celebration. Stop by the glass factory between 6 and 10 p.m. to partake in an evening of fiery festivities, including the chance to create your own holiday tile keepsake, paperweight or glass beads. Local darlings Bunnygrunt take the stage at 8 p.m. with their signature cuddle-punk sound. All of the mingling, dancing and creating is sure to stoke your appetite, which is why Third Degree is offering tapas-style dining all evening. During the event, be sure to check out the two shows currently displayed in the gallery, Whimsical Monstrosities: Abby Gitlitz and Discover America: Stacey and Stuart Morse. The Fire Technicians Performance Troupe will dazzle the crowd with en fuego stunts, and Mr. Claus himself will drop by for a visit. The event is free (food and glass-blowing activities cost extra); for more information, visit www.stlglass.com or call 314-367-4257.
