While we would never encourage over-imbibing, it's a well-known fact that a little bit of alcohol helps the holidays go down smoothly. Whether you sneak a little cognac in your eggnog or need a jumbo-size glass of wine to fortify yourself for family get-togethers, a little spirited indulgence is part of the holiday season. So it's fitting that our city's largest purveyor of beer is also known for its holiday spirit. As in years past, the Anheuser-Busch Brewery (1127 Pestalozzi Street) is bedecked in thousands of Christmas lights. Vehicles are welcome to drive through the brewery's campus nightly between 6 p.m. and midnight by accessing Busch Place via Arsenal Street and then turning onto Pestalozzi Street.
