The passing of yet another holiday season can be difficult to take. Sure, the decorating and the present-purchasing and the light-viewing sessions can put a strain on your schedule, but when it's all over, everything just seems so, well, boring. And plain. To put some of that holiday razzle-dazzle back in your life, sans the holidays themselves (and their repetitive soundtrack), head to the Chaifetz Arena (1 South Compton Avenue) for a little Cirque du Soleil action. Sure, Dralion, the Canada-based circus extravaganza's current St. Louis offering, doesn't showcase any fat men in crimson suits or teams of lighter-than-air reindeer, but it does offer a magical experience nonetheless, what with the flying, acrobatic humans, contorting, balancing and juggling throughout the East-meets-West-themed show — and in beautiful, fanciful costumes no less! To catch the wonder and whimsy that are inherent to this and every other Cirque performance, call MetroTix at 314-534-1111 or visit www.metrotix.com to purchase tickets, which cost $32 to $99. Dralion is presented at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and at 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday (January 19 through 23).
