Harmonious, Joyous Circus

Right now, June seems like it's a million years away. We're feeling doubtful that we will ever enjoy outdoor festivals again, feel the warm breezes of late spring or witness the buoyant joy of Circus Flora. Alas, these things are far away, it's true, but we do have a chance to get a taste of the circus this weekend and next when Circus Harmony presents Grazioso. This full-length production is packed with all of the tumbling, flying, flipping and magic that can fit into one show, plus, there's the young performers' exuberant, infectious spirit, which is showcased throughout the extravaganza — and who couldn't use a bit of exuberance right about now? Grazioso is presented at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday (January 22 through 30) at the City Museum (701 North 15th Street), and tickets cost $15 to $95 (museum admission included). Visit www.circusharmony.org to learn more.
Saturdays, Sundays. Starts: Jan. 22. Continues through Jan. 30, 2011
