What's oozy, crusty and smelly all over? You are! Well, your body, that is. Examine just how and why the human body is such a gloriously disgusting (and efficient) machine at Grossology, the new exhibition at the Saint Louis Science Center ( 5050 Oakland Avenue; 314-289-4400; www.slsc.org), based on the children's book of the same title. Get up-close and personal with your insides while crawling through the 3-D digestive system, then visit the Vomit Center and the Toot Toot exhibit to investigate the smells and sounds on the outsides. Grossology opens Saturday, October 16, and it remains open through Sunday, March 27. Tickets cost $3.50 to $7 for children and $4.50 to $9 for adults. And if you want a Halloween costume that's really gross and scary, maybe look no further than the closest mirror.
