The Chicago Six
Thanks to Second City and the impressive successes of its many alumni, Chicago has a reputation as a comedy hothouse. Not all Chicago comics are household names — not yet anyway. The Comedians You Should Know, a sextet of standups who just this month released their first album — also entitled Comedians You Should Know in a very on-message fashion — would like you to, you know, be aware of them and their work. Tonight at 8 p.m., CYSK storm White Flag Projects (4568 Manchester Avenue; 314-531-3442 or www.whiteflagprojects.org) to perform in conjunction with the current humor-intense exhibit, Time Wounds All Heels. How much will you pay for an evening of comic entertainment in the classiest temporary comedy club of all time? Nothing — admission is free.
