Long evening at the theater, costuming looked like the period of history in which this production was set was an unknown, too many minions cluttering the stage. I sure didn't like the stage opening up (made me think of the dance scene in It's a Wonderful Life, nor did I like the solution for NO cauldron in witches scene. Finally the hand-to-hand combat done in slo-mo was amateurish-looking. Best performance of the evening was the actor who played the character (among other roles) who discussed how drink can get one into trouble. Thanks to Shakespeare and his ribaldry.
