Film-issimo!

Like many of the indecisive out there, Ms. Day likes her choices. A Sunday brunch buffet? Perfect for those pre-coffee breakfast (or lunch!) decisions. A pasta bar offering a variety of noodles and every sauce imaginable? A wonderful, filling dinner (or lunch!) for Lady Day. So, as you can imagine, when it comes time for the Italian Film Festival of St. Louis, which features three weekends of works from the boot-shape country, Day couldn't be any more pleased. With all of the films being screened — award-winning family dramas, documentaries and comedies — each and every one of us is certain to find something to capture our interest and enliven our love of all things Italian (with English subtitles). The free film extravaganza kicks off at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 1, and continues on Fridays and Saturdays through Saturday, April 16, at Washington University's Brown Hall (Forsyth and Skinker boulevards). Visit www.italianfilmfestivalstlouis.com for a full schedule.
Fridays, Saturdays. Starts: April 1. Continues through April 16, 2011
