Despite all the hoopla surrounding Albert Pujols' contract negotiations, baseball will still be played in St. Louis this year, and just like always, the St. Louis Cardinals home opener is sold out. But you can still celebrate the annual civic holiday at the free Y98 Opening Day Rally. Look for the teeming hordes of red-clad fanatics crowding Kiener Plaza (Seventh and Market streets; www.y98.radio.com) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where there will be games, giveaways, food and drink, and live music from My Friend Mike. There will most likely also be some impromptu cheering, spontaneous dancing and some pretty funny anti-Cubs chants — despite today's game being played against the San Diego Padres — because wherever three or more Cards fans are gathered, there is Cubs hate.
