How do you make an epic fantasy film even more...epic and, well, just plain awesome? Start with an Oscar-winning musical score, add a live orchestra and set 'em loose for an experience like never before. Erik Ochsner and the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra perform Howard Shore's sweeping score for TheLord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, while the film plays on the big screen behind the orchestra. Performances take place at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday (April 1 through 3), at Powell Hall (718 North Grand Boulevard). A limited number of seats are available for all performances. Tickets are $40 to $85 and can be purchased at www.slso.org or by calling 314-534-1700.
