Goodies Galore

Here's the thing: Mother's Day is coming up. Yes, yes, we know we just celebrated Easter and Passover, but alas, May is here, and it's time to honor our mommies. Sure, they enjoy it when we spend time with them — but they also dig really cool, thoughtful gifts. So get on it, and get to the St. Louis Artists' Guild (2 Oak Knoll Park, Clayton; www.stlouisartistsguild.org or 314-727-6266) for Indie Craft Revolution, an artsy craft fair put on by the St. Louis Craft Mafia. Expect to find a diverse assortment of lovely handmade items in a variety of prices and styles, ranging from pretty to tough, and from practical to fanciful. The wares are up for sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday (April 30 and May 1), and there's no admission fee. Visit www.revolutioncraftshow.com for a list of vendors, and come hungry: Restaurants such as Urban Eats Café & Bakery and Pi serve up tasty treats.
Sat., April 30; Sun., May 1, 2011
