Going Out On A High Note

As the song goes, everybody hurts sometimes, and sometimes the pain is too much to bear. How can those feelings be expressed as poignantly on paper as they feel inside? That's why Legacy Letters went into business. The company founders believe that the most important document one will ever write is one's suicide note, and they want to help you get it right. It sounds incredible, and it should, since it is the clever premise for Andrew Hinderaker's darkly comedic play, Suicide, Incorporated. Everything is going smoothly at LL until young hotshot Jason is hired. He ignores his ethical duties to stay out of his clients' business when he takes on forsaken Norm and instead tries to save him. RS Theatrics (a division of Soundstage Productions) presents a fully staged reading of Suicide, Incorporated at 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday (May 13 through 22) at ArtSpace in Crestwood Court (Watson and Sappington roads, Crestwood), and admission is $10. For more information, visit www.soundstageproductions.net.
Fridays-Sundays. Starts: May 13. Continues through May 22, 2011
