It has been almost a year since Jess Luther and Dave Baker formalized their show-going experiences in the form of I Went To A Show, a blog that has since added Julie Dill and Annie McCance and become one of the loudest voices cheerleading the St. Louis music scene. I Went To A Showcase marks the first step into new territory for the group; this will be its first crack at putting together a show. The showcase features an exceptional lineup of locals, split evenly between acoustic guitars and electric: Pretty Little Empire, Tight Pants Syndrome, the Dive Poets and the Breaks. Steps were taken to give this show a unique feel; the Cha Cha Chow food truck will be parked in Off Broadway's courtyard, doling out food.
