If you're listening...Jimmy Eat World is touring behind its sixth full-length album, Invented. The band's new effort has a softer touch than Chase This Light. Jim Adkins' vocals are much more polished — a little less rock and a little more crooning boy band. But those devoted Jimmy fans who love the group's heavy guitar solos and sing-along lyrics will still find plenty to like. Invented is an album about the excitement of a budding love built around coffee and cigarettes. It's all part of a new writing direction the band says it's taking, and already the new album has plenty of YouTube and Twitter love.
