Everybody in creation enjoys a bout of Angry Birds, the addictive video game that allows you to launch disgruntled avians at ramshackle structures for fun and points. The only flaw in the game is its distinct lack of a kinetic element; no matter how hard you flip that bird, you never really experience the visceral crunch of genuine impact. Star Clipper (6392 Delmar Boulevard, University City; 314-725-9110 or www.starclipper.com) comes to your rescue with the Angry Birds installation in its art gallery. An actual slingshot has been installed in the space, allowing you to fling plush Angry Birds at a ramshackle building stuffed with plush Angry Bird Pigs. All you have to do is pull back and fire your feathered friend at the target and then watch -- and feel -- as the bodies hit the floor. The Angry Birds shooting gallery goes live on Saturday, July 9, and it costs nothing to play. Bring a friend or two, because you'll want somebody to reset the target after a hit.
