I live in the Flats at 374 as a SLU student and just graduated. After four years of attending SLU I never once ate at the Del Taco and am happy to see it go, particularly due to the undesirable characters it brought in (my girlfriend's car was vandalized numerous times in the past few months when parked near the building due to limited available parking in the area). Also, I hope they tear down that monstrous eye sore of a building, "historic" designation or not. What company will want to inhabit that tiny place? It has little to no usable space and the parking situation is atrocious. Better off just leveling it and starting over.
