If it seems unfair to criticize a dish for being too ambitious when I usually do the opposite, it's only because Quincy Street is appealing because it is the sort of place where people gather around food, not because of it. How many hours have I spent at places like this, snacking on food that I know is bad for me, drinking a beer too cold to taste, watching one of my teams fail, laughing at a bartender's quips? This ain't the life of a restaurant critic. It's life, period.

After several visits to Quincy Street Bistro, I have to say it's our new favorite place. The food is excellent, and the building is really nice. We've tried quite a few of the menu items and have been extremely pleased with everything, with the exception of one burger cooked past the requested medium. The pizza is every bit as good as the reviewer says. This is a great addition to the St. Louis restaurant scene.

when it comes to grilled foods I like salmon and ribs to be grilled. And also I like Marlin to be grilled perfectly when its juices are just being moisten out from the food.
