After delving into the creepy corners of River City with its first comic book anthology, Spirits of St. Louis, and then getting criminally hardboiled for Shots in the Dark, Ink and Drink Comics sets its sights on the stars for its third release, Blasted!. This latest collection features science fiction and speculative fiction comics by old hands Kevin Wolf, Mike Harvey and Carlos Gabriel Ruiz, as well as work by newcomers such as Anthony L. Fowler, Jr. and Brent Mueller. Get Blasted! at its official release party from 6 to 10 p.m. at Star Clipper (6392 Delmar Boulevard, University City; 314-725-9110 or www.starclipper.com). Many of the creators will be at the party -- several of them work or have worked at Star Clipper after all -- so you can get autographs and photos with that handsome Jim Mosley if you're lucky.
