Time Heals No Wounds

Becca and Howie are having a difficult time relating to one another these days. It's been eight months since their four-year-old son was killed, and the grief is just as strong as it was in the beginning. Howie smothers his anger, but Becca is forced to confront the loss constantly. Her younger sister, Izzy, is pregnant, and Becca can't help but seethe at her sister's joy. David Lindsay-Abaire's Pulitzer Prize-winning Rabbit Hole explores the ways we deal not just with the death of loved one, but how we make peace with the perpetually empty space left in the person's absence. Insight Theatre Company closes its 2011 season with Rabbit Hole. Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday (September 22 through October 2) at the Heagney Theater on Nerinx Hall's campus (530 East Lockwood Avenue; 314-556-1293 or www.insighttheatrecompany.com). Tickets are $20 to $30.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: Sept. 22. Continues through Oct. 2, 2011
