Becca and Howie are having a difficult time relating to one another these days. It's been eight months since their four-year-old son was killed, and the grief is just as strong as it was in the beginning. Howie smothers his anger, but Becca is forced to confront the loss constantly. Her younger sister, Izzy, is pregnant, and Becca can't help but seethe at her sister's joy. David Lindsay-Abaire's Pulitzer Prize-winning Rabbit Hole explores the ways we deal not just with the death of loved one, but how we make peace with the perpetually empty space left in the person's absence.
