Kings Go Forth

For various cultural and monetary reasons, Kings Go Forth should not exist. An active Milwaukee band should not be capable of creating such vintage-steeped soul that 2010's The Outsiders Are Back sounds like an obscure '70s funk record uncovered by obsessive crate digging. This recessing economy should not be able to support a ten-piece touring group roughing it out in small clubs. A frontman who dresses like P-Funk, sings like Motown and calls himself Black Wolf is too awesome to be a real thing. But all this is truth; skeptics are welcome to attend Kings Go Forth's logic-defying show for proof.
