Dreaming of a White Christmas? While no one can promise you snow (or snow days, for that matter) the folks at the St. Louis Zoo in Forest Park (314-781-0900 or www.stlzoo.org) invite you to visit arctic creatures while you walk through a holiday winter wonderland -- despite the fact that, in mid-December, it feels more like Spring. Each year, U.S. Bank Wild Lights sets the Zoo's foliage ablaze with colorful lights, live music, fireside stories and more. Still not wintry enough for you? Swing by Penguin & Puffin Coast (it's always chilly in there!) or stroll through the "Snowfall Flurry Walk" to sate your blizzard craving. U.S. Bank Wild Lights takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday (November 25 to December 11), and then every night from Friday, December 16 through Friday, December 23, and again every night from Monday, December 26, through Friday, December 30. Admission is $4 to $5.
Fridays, Saturdays; Dec. 16-23; Dec. 26-30. Starts: Nov. 25. Continues through Dec. 10, 2011
