In the competitive world of glitz pageants, negativity, emotional abuse and body dysmorphia abound. In the more colorful Miss Gay America sphere, however, body positivity and confidence reign. It's still a competition, meaning there's always potential for a bit of catty rivalry, but the female impersonators bidding for the title of Miss Gay St. Louis America 2012 (and the chance to compete for Miss Gay America) know they look stunning.
