I beg to differ. Kevn Kinney is as close to Mr Bob Dylan as can be attained. He plays his heart out every performance. If you don't like him, don't BASH him. I have such a warm feeling in my heart when I listen/ see him.
Of all the bands to emerge (though barely) from the Atlanta and Athens rock scenes of the late '80s, Drivin' N' Cryin' was the most indebted to the sounds of the South, even as it was always closer to metal than either its punk or jangled next of kin. Loud and sloshed and bluesy as the Replacements covering Skynyrd, the band, led by a trashy vocalist and barstool poet named Kevn Kinney, flared brilliantly for a decade then burned out. Drivin' N' Cryin' reformed in 2009 and released The Great American Bubble Factory, a mangy, boogie-blasted set of hard rock for hard times.

Recommended Cocktail Pairing: SoCo on the rocks backed with a Rolling Rock. Just hold on tightly — the band's stage volume can crack the glass of a longneck at 30 feet.
