It's no secret that the St. Louis craft-beer scene is booming, with the brewpub population climbing to double digits in the metro area. On Friday, May 4, and Saturday, May 5, St. Louis Microfest pours into Forest Park, featuring more than 75 breweries and 100 international and craft brews, many of which hail from Missouri. Take in demos with brewmasters from Perennial Artisan Ales, 4 Hands Brewing Co., Urban Chestnut Brewing Company and Schlafly Beer, and soak up brew tastings (which you'll drink out of your commemorative Microfest tasting glass) with sample food pairings from a variety of local vendors. The two-day beer fest takes place in a massive tent near the Muny in Forest Park. Tickets range from $30 to $54 and can be purchased at beer.stlmicrofest.org.
