More About

Angelo Olegna's love for manmade structures is best described in his own words: "I recently realized that my love for buildings has transformed into something a bit beyond platonic. I wanted to express my deep, throbbing passion for architecture by literally drawing man-on-building intercourse." (The rest gets a bit...graphic.) Enter Architectural Promiscuity, a marriage of Olegna's ability for drawing cityscapes and his love for the buildings within them that results in public displays of hand-drawn affection. Here the sexually adventurous children of Shel Silverstein sketches tongue phallic constructions and become intimate with rusticated hotel facades. The exhibit opens with a free reception at Fort Gondo Compound for the Arts (3151 Cherokee Street; 314-772-3628 or www.fortgondo.com) from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, and remains on display through June 11.
Sat., June 2; Mon., June 11, 2012
