If you're the kind of person who hangs out around the house with your ankles tucked behind your head, or someone who flips, twists and turns out to the mailbox, you might not be amazed by Cirque du Soleil's Quidam. But for those of us who are barely nimble enough to accomplish much more than a brisk walk to the office break room, this show will positively impress. All manner of acrobatic performers utilize silks, a swing, yo-yos, a giant wheel, jump ropes and much more to balance, fly through the air and generally push the boundaries of human ability and flexibility to entertain Zoé, a bored child who draws us all into the enchanting world of Quidam. To let yourself experience a thrill or three (or more!), make your way to the Chaifetz Arena (1 South Compton Avenue) this week. Cirque performances are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and at 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday (June 20 through 24). Tickets, which cost $30 to $102, are available through www.thechaifetzarena.com.
