The Beatles changed music forever -- but there were only four of them. No matter how many instruments they played and the assortment of sounds they layered in their songs, Paul, George, John and Ringo couldn't replicate the resonant richness of a full orchestra. That's why the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra's Classical Mystery Tour: A Tribute to the Beatles ought to be quite a treat. At this one-night concert, not only will you have the opportunity to revel in the songwriting virtuosity of the Fab Four -- "I Am the Walrus" and "Yesterday" are both among the 30 or so tunes on the program -- but you will also experience the brilliant musicianship of our city's own symphony. A magical night, indeed. Tickets to the 8 p.m. show at Powell Symphony Hall (718 North Grand Boulevard; 314-533-2500) cost $35 to $89 and can be purchased through www.slso.org, but don't hesitate -- many will want to "goo goo g'joob" in Grand Center, so this concert is likely to sell out.
