Triple-threat writer, actor and director Tommy Wiseau is a modern day Ed Wood. His sordid melodrama The Room is often dubbed “the Citizen Kane of bad movies,” while IFC described Wiseau's performance as "Borat trying to do an impression of Christopher Walken playing a mental patient." In late 2010, Tommy announced that The Room would be remastered in 3-D. A year and a half has passed, and fans are still waiting for that version to come to light, but this Friday and Saturday, audiences will be treated to the man himself, live in all three dimensions. Hang out with Wiseau and rewatch The Room in its campy cult glory at the Tivoli Theatre (6350 Delmar Boulevard, University City). Tickets for the special midnight showings are $15, so to make room in your schedule, visit www.landmarktheatres.com/market/st.louis/tivolitheatre.htm.
