There, beer is king; to visit this small nation as a hops head is to know true belonging. This weekend you can get a taste of that Flemish beery artistry here at home at the Schlafly Tap Room (2100 Locust Street; 314-241-2337 or www.schlafly.com) during Schlafly’s Belgian Beer & Mussel Mania. Fresh coldwater mussels from Washington State will be paired with some of Belgium’s finest signature beers and ales. The event, at no cover charge, runs tonight from 5 p.m. to midnight and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
