More About

Sculptor Craig Wedderspoon has the hands of an artist and the heart of a philosopher. Using his materials of choice (metal and wood), Wedderspoon soaks up the world around him and lets this “visual stimuli” inform the choices he makes as an artist. The scale of his work runs the gamut from the intimate to the massive, but it is all in service of communicating a unique, deeply personal, visual philosophy. Biotextural Landscapes, Wedderspoon's first solo St. Louis show, will open beneath the booming billboard of the Good Citizen Gallery (2247 Gravois Avenue) this Friday with an opening reception from 6 to 10 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public, and the work will remain on display through September 29. For more information, visit www.goodcitizenstl.com.
Fridays, Saturdays. Starts: Aug. 31. Continues through Sept. 29, 2012
