New York-based artist Jonathan Horowitz creates a bipartisan fantasia in the Contemporary Art Museum (3750 Washington Boulevard) lobby, coloring one side red and the other blue, and airing non-stop CNN and Fox news (in their respective color-zones) until, ultimately, a portrait of the newly elected president is hung. Debate night parties will be hosted in the museum’s performance space. The exhibition opens with a free reception on Friday September 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis concurrently with Leslie Hewitt: Sudden Glare of the Sun and Rosa Barba: Desert -- Performed.
Wednesdays-Sundays. Starts: Sept. 7. Continues through Nov. 11, 2012
