More About

In April the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts (3716 Washington Boulevard; 314-754-1850 or www.pulitzerarts.org) marked its tenth anniversary with the opening of In the Still Epiphany, a special exhibit curated by New York artist Gedi Sibony that features pieces of art from the private collection of Emily and Joseph Pulitzer Jr. On Friday, September 21, the Pulitzer partners with Cinema St. Louis to present Film Night at the Pulitzer, a series of locally produced short silent films that reflect identifying elements of In the Still Epiphany. The films selected for the showcase will be projected on the Pulitzer's exterior, and one has been hand-picked by Pulitzer assistant curator Tamara K. Schenkenberg to screen alongside Theodor Dreyer's film Ordet. Film Night at the Pulitzer runs from 6:30 to 10 p.m., and admission is free.
