Question: Are you the one person left on the planet who hasn't seen the musical Les Miserables, the theatrical adaptation of Victor Hugo's beloved, timeless story? Don't be embarrassed — be empowered to join fans at the Fox Theatre (527 North Grand Boulevard; 314-534-1111 or www.fabulousfox.com) as the stage is transformed into nineteenth-century France. In fact, the set of this production was inspired by the artistic renderings of Hugo himself (he was multitalented to be sure), so it ought to perfectly set the scene for the tale of the redemption of ex-con Jean Valjean. Plus, the songs will be as great as ever — rest assured, you'll be humming "Master of the House" for at least a week after the show. Tickets to the musical cost $15 to $80, depending upon your seat choice and showtime preference. Performances happen at 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (October 16 to 28); there also are special shows at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, October 21, and at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 25.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Oct. 11. Continues through Oct. 28, 2012
