There's more to a Rockettes show than lovely ladies hopping in unison and flinging their legs on high -- especially when we're talking about the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. During this extravaganza, you've got your distinctive dance moves from the rockin' Rockettes -- who don some stunning, sparkling ensembles, of course -- but there's also a huge heap of holiday joy and festive fun. Teddy bears dance, toy soldiers march, Santas show off some moves, and even a New York City sightseeing bus takes the stage! To get in the holiday spirit and to welcome the Rockettes back to their hometown -- yep, they were founded here, lo those 87 years ago -- head to the Peabody Opera House (14th and Market streets) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, for the Spectacular's opening show. Performances continue at various times every day (except Monday) through Saturday, November 17.
