Tonight, the eARThworks 2012: Art for an Endangered Planet exhibition comes to an end -- but it's not too late for you to enjoy the art. Maybe some of it you'll enjoy on a permanent basis, in fact. This evening's closing reception doubles as an auction of all the unsold work, with all proceeds benefiting the Missouri Coalition for the Environment. The action starts at 6 p.m. in the gallery of the Regional Arts Commission (6128 Delmar Boulevard); a silent auction allows you to bid on environmentally-themed work by more than 60 regional artists, including Jim Motto, Larry Frederick and Adam Long. At 8 p.m., five pieces specially held in reserve for the event will be auctioned live by Guy Phillips of Y98-FM.
