More About

Our Saint Louis Zoo isn't just a top-tier destination for families looking to spend an enjoyable day out among the animals; it's also a great resource for general learning and the serious consideration of pressing, real-world issues that affect Midwesterners and everyone else around the globe. The zoo's "Conservation Conversations" are a case in point. These free lectures are fantastic educational seminars targeted toward teachers, middle- and highschool students and the wider public. Tonight from 7:30 to 9 p.m. you can find out much more about a critical topic that should interest all of us: the Science Behind Climate Change. The lecture is built around the findings of the 2013 National Climate Assessment, a report produced by more than 240 contributors representing federal agencies, academic institutions, private industry and nonprofit organizations. Conservation Conversation series lectures are held in the Living World, near the north entrance of the Saint Louis Zoo in Forest Park. Call 314-646-4544 or visit www.stlzoo.org for more information.
