Valentine's Day is right around the corner and tonight the Missouri History Museum (Lindell Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue; 314-746-4599 or www.mohistory.org) offers time-tested tips to help lonely singles come together for meaningful and lasting relationships. These days, young people have music videos from the likes of Flo Rida, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj to teach proper etiquette when courting the opposite sex, but in the '40s and '50s teachers filled the information gap by lugging the projector out of the resource room and screening that classroom staple, the educational film. Slip in to your letterman jacket and turn down those bobby-socks for How to Get a Date: Vintage Classroom Films. The educational shorts are screened at 6:30 p.m., and admission is free.
